Dueling Bellies

Sorry for the delay in posting. We have started "Planning for Parenthood" classes, and one of the highlights is that David got to see what this pregnancy thing is all about. They have an empathy belly that he got to wear! They even made the guys bend over and pick up laundry to get the full effect - it was wonderful. My favorite part was when he took it off and then said "man, my back hurts" - YA THINK?!

The same night as the picture was taken above we celebrated our five year wedding anniversary. What a difference five years makes! It has been a great ride so far, I can only imagine what is in store for us over the next years to come.

We have started having baby showers and really getting the nursery ready, so I will post more pic's next week showing off what all we have gotten from our friends and family for Sarah Katherine to enjoy.

She Has Erin's Lips!!!

Today we went in for our 4-D Ultrasound appointment. Sarah Katherine did great and we got some great shots of her face, and without a doubt, she has Erin's lips!!! We got about 30 minutes of video, and several times throughout the recording she opens her eyes and makes numerous expression from smiles to frowns. According to the ultrasound tech, she is one of the most active babies she has ever seen. She would yawn, move her hand in front of her face, and kick her legs. She never stopped moving the entire time. She is measuring at about 30 weeks, and Sarah Katherine is weighing in at a little over 3 pounds at this point. Mom and baby are fine and all seems to be going along well. Erin goes back in two weeks for her next appointment, so we will update ya'll then. Check out the pictures below!!!
