Ecuador July 2011

This is the photo book I put together of our trip to Ecuador the first week of July. It was such a wonderful trip - just an amazing place that got me re-focuses and re-fueled spritually. It is so wonderful to be somewhere and KNOW you are right were God wants you to be - no feeling like it. This truly makes you want to stop and listen to God more often because He blesses beyond measure when you are obedient. As you look through this, please pray for all the new believers as well as the pastors of these baby churches. God has amazing plans for these people, and I was so humbled to be even a small part of it.

SK's 4th of July with her Cousins

Since David and I were gone to Ecuador on a mission trip over 4th of July (LONG post to come on that soon!), Sarah Katherine got to hang out in Tennessee with her cousins. She had a wonderful time at Nana and Papa's house - they went shopping, went to the movies, played with all the cousins, swam, and ate YUMMY food! Who could ask for more?! Here are some pictures of bitsy and the fam from her vaca.

Luke's 3rd Birthday

As most of you know - my and my sis's in law were all pregnant at about the same time in 2008! Within 7 months three little ones were born, so it is going to be GREAT watching them grow up together. Luke's 3rd birthday was June 17, so we went up to Clarksville to celebrate at his party. The kids got to make their own pizzas, eat cup cakes, and play, play, play!

The Birthday Boy!

Hannah - Baby #3 from the "boom", she'll turn 3 in January.

Andrea - Hannah's sister who is 4.

The original Sutton Sister - Bailey who is 7.

The Many Looks of a 2 Year Old

Since a daughter is the best baby doll ever - you might dress them up a bit! Sarah Katherine is 100% girly girl, so it makes it that much more fun to put her in cute outfits because she LOVES it! When we leave the house she needs her jewelry, sunglasses, and sometimes a purse and phone - the girl watches everything I do and is copying mommy. We are about to end the 2nd year and I am loving this little girl more and more - "terrible" two's I must have missed. She is talking more and we can have little conversations. Yes that means some attitude at times, but the good massively outweighs the challenges. Here are some random pic's of Miss Priss.
These are two "Sunday" looks. Above daddy taught her how to salute in her sailor outfit. Below is Hollywood all decked out to rock the pre-school hall at church!

Below is SK trying on a piece from each princess outfit she owns - Snow White's crown, Sleeping Beauty's shirt, Cinderella's skirt, and of course Marti Gras beads to tie it all together!

Sarah Katherine - the Little Momma

Our little one has become such a little mommy lately! She is ALWAYS feeding a baby, putting a baby to bed, holding a baby because it's "crying", or even changing diapers. So imagine how excited she is when anyone younger than her is around and she has a real "baby" to take care of! I am so glad my girl is so caring and loving, I prayed specifically for that and God provided in abundance.

Here is SK feeding a bottle to Daniley's little sister Danslen. I can just see the wheels turning in SK's head - hold the baby just right, drink your milk, are you ok....

Here is SK helping Jackson with his sippy. Jackson isn't that much younger than SK and it's going to be funny in about 13 years when he's 6'-5" tall to see how SK took care of "her" Jackson!

Memorial Day Weekend in NYC (yes I know it's July - I'm catching up!)

We took the chance over Memorial Day weekend to go have some grown up time and went to New York City for the weekend. My fabulous husband works for a hotel, so he was able to swing getting our hotel room for free. I am a crazy cheap person in general, so I plotted out a plan to save $ through city passes, restaurant.com certificates, etc. So, not only did we have a WONDERFUL time, but we also ended up saving over $700! This was our 3rd trip to NYC, so we just took in the city this go round. We knew enough to plan it all out so we weren't treking across the island all day - overall fabulous weekend!!!
This is the spot where the twin towers stood. They are working on building the new "freedom" village that is going to be amazing! This is the view from the Circle Line cruise we took around the island.
