Visiting our Gram

In January we wanted to go visit our Gram and take her Christmas present, but unfortunately she caught the flu and we weren't able to go.  Finally in February we found a weekend when everyone was well and available.  The girls were super sweet with their Grammy and we were even able to stay for lunch with her at the special head table in her dining room.  I am so blessed to have my kids get to know their great-grandmother.  I absolutely love seeing them interact and being able to see these generations represented!

Charlotte Anne and her Gram (ANNE Adams).  Love these Anne's!!!

Visit with our Cousins

Over MLK weekend we went up to visit David's family in Tennessee.  We had a great time visiting with our family, finally doing Christmas with them, and celebrating Hannah's birthday - whew!  Unfortunately SK got sick while we were there and wasn't able to spend the night with her cousins, but next time it will be full on party time.  How cute are these three girls???

Flat Stanley Comes for a Visit

Flat Stanley came to our house for a visit so we took him around with us for the weekend, took pictures, and then made a poster for SK's school.  Sarah Katherine even found "Flat Sarah Katherine" that we had brought home from school several months ago that this girl dug out for Stanley to have a friend.  We really had a great time taking our flat friends around town with us.

 Haircuts for everyone!!!
Flat Stanley paid for lunch as we were out and about shopping.
Flat Stanley and Flat Sarah Katherine helped make pizza for dinner.
Movie night, let's snuggle up and watch Hotel Transylvania.

Night night flat friends.
Getting all beautiful for church - Stanley is even wearing his tie.
Safe spot for riding in the car.
Flat Stanley and Flat SK read their Bible while real SK was in Sunday School.

Rebecca's Princess Party

Our friend Rebecca Firstbrook had a fabulous 3rd birthday party where Cinderella was in attendance!  For some reason Sarah Katherine decided she would NOT dress up as a princess and instead pulled together a flapper dress outfit that was meant for a 2 year old (ie - too short) and some other creative accessories.  Sometimes things just aren't worth the fight.  Cinderella was just as wonderful as she was at SK's party and SK was super excited to see her best princess - she read stories, sang songs, did makeup, served cake, and took pictures with the girls.  There were some beautiful little princesses running around and we were so glad to be able to be a part of Becca's big day!

SK all made up and ready to party!
 SK and Emma looking beautiful.
So many princesses - LOVE all the dresses.
We LOVE Cinderella!!!

Circus Time

The circus comes to town every January in Birmingham, and this year David was able to come with us to check it out.  Sarah Katherine was super excited to see all the animals and not overly excited with the other things.  Little Charlotte Anne ate and then was kind of done with the whole event.  Lesson learned for future reference - don't go to the night time circus event with little ones.  I definitely recommend the circus, but maybe wait until the kiddos are at least 2. :)
