Playing Catch Up

I have finally loaded some newer pictures, so here is some more day in the life of us Corams!

Sarah Katherine and I went out for a birthday lunch for my friend Crystal after Christmas. Here is the birthday girl with the little girl trying to get ahold of someone's food. :)

Here we are coming home from church. I totally dressed her in an outfit with a bonnet before David could notice or have time to change her. (He is anti-bonnet - boo!)

He loved on her, but only after the hat had come off.

My good friend Maria, who is off at PA school, came home for the holidays and got to meet the little one. I was so good to see her, and the next time we meet she'll be all graduated and living it up!

4 Months Already

We went to the doc yesterday for Sarah Katherine's 4 month check up. She was so super smiley and sweet, I hated to know what she had waiting for her! Her height and weight are looking good - 25.5" tall (90%) and 13lbs 1 oz (50%). I'm super excited because we can start her on some baby foods, cereal, and juice!!! Yeah - the beginning of phasing out formula. :) Well, after all the fun stuff came the mean shots. She did well with them though - no fever or meanness even. She's a trooper!

Another big milestone this week - this was our first full week of "daycare". Really it's a friend of ours keeping SK at her home with her kids - which is WONDERFUL! So far so good, and we are really looking forward to all the fun times we are going to hear about her having. Can you believe she's already signed up to take classes at the zoo?! I'll be sure and post pic's of her little adventures.

Happy New Year (and more Christmas!)

Well, I am proud to say we totally stayed up and rang in the New Year like champs! We did let Sarah Katherine crash out for this one, but we persevered. What a crazy difference a year makes. This time last year we had been trying to have a baby for over a year and a half. Little did we know that as we cut a rug on a dinner and dancing train in North Carolina that nine months later our prayers would be answered. I can't wait to see what turns and twists this year has in store for us - I'm buckled up and ready to go!!! :)

David's parents and sister came down to visit us on New Year's Day. We got to do our Christmas present swapping with them also while they were here. My mother in law got a fancy camera for Christmas, so we got several fun pictures to commemorate!

The ball moves on it's own, and man is she working hard to get to that crazy thing! :)
Below are the only two pictures I got of David and I with Sarah Katherine during Christmas. I gotta get better at my documenting the occasions.
