Valentine's Day 2011

As you see from the other posts below, our Valentine's weekend was a blast and full of fun stuff! David actually kicked off the festivities on Friday when he sent a quartet to sing "Let me Call you Sweetheart" to me at work. After some confusion over which building I work in, the poor fellas finally found me and did a great job with their serenade. It was videod, but we haven't gotten the link to it yet. Of course the hormonal pregnant lady started crying and so did half the ladies that were our impromptu audience! It was super sweet, but David was in big trouble for making me cry at work!!!

Saturday evening we cooked a nice meal and even SK enjoyed her Beef Wellington. The girl is sophisticated, what can I say?!

Sadly our actual Valentine's Day didn't go anywhere near as planned. SK's daycare was doing a fundraiser where you can pay them to watch the kiddos after work and they would do fun stuff, eat pizza and watch movies until 10. We jumped on that offer since we don't have family in town and that was way cheaper than a babysitter! Well, before lunch I called to see how David's day was going and he told me he had just gotten sick and was going to head home as quickly as he could. So, our Valentine's night was filled with David passed out from taking finergin, me running through the Purple Onion drive through, and SK sad to leave the party early because they just started the movie. Oh well, maybe next year!

At least little bit looked cute the whole day! Below are some pic's we took for mimommy to show off her festive outfit. Can you tell the girl is sassy????

Showering Elizabeth Anne with Love

Sunday I got to go back over to the Davis house for a shower for Elizabeth Anne - Jill gets the party planner award for the month! I was able to see several friends from church that I don't get to see much since I started teaching the 5th grade girls, so it was WONDERFUL to catch up! We are so blessed with amazing friends and church family that takes such great care of us. Elizabeth Anne got some beautiful things and I think we are ready for her appearance now. Daddy just needs to vacuum first. :) Sadly several of these pictures are blurry, my camera is not the best in the world. Maybe having 2 precious angels will motivate us to upgrade!

Emma's Princess Pajama Party

This past weekend was full of fun parties! We kicked the weekend off with Emma's 3rd birthday and her Princess PJ Party. :) The girls all wore their favorite princess jammies, made princess pillow cases, ate pancakes with a castle on them, dressed up in a princess outfit, and even got to meet Cinderella! Emma's mommy did a great job on the festivities!!!
