SK's first on-screen crush

I guess Sarah Katherine has officially started liking the fellas (see posts below!). About a week ago SK and I were watching a show on USA called "White Collar". Her favorite question these days is "What is his / her name?". So, she asked me about the main character and I told her his name was Neal. Well, fast forward to about two days ago and after dinner SK started throwing a fit to see "Neal". Since it had been a week it took me a while to figure out what she was talking about, but then we turned on the show. It happened to be on a scene where Neal wasn't in the shot and she threw a hissy saying "I want Neal", "Where is Neal" - I mean for real hissy! Then, as soon as he was on screen she was happy as a lark. I asked her if she liked Neal and she said yes, then I asked her if he was cute and she coyly said yes. I fully blame our friend Heather for introducing us to the show and sending the vibes out that Neal is a stud to watch! :) Oh boy, we are definitely in for it, and sooner than I thought!!!

Kissy Poem, by my Aunt Kathy

My Aunt Kathy was so inspired by my crazy little girl's smooching story that she wrote a cute poem. I think Sarah Katherine's future husband will get a big kick out of this at the rehearsal dinner one day!

Smooching

My name is Sarah Katherine,
I like to go to school.
But one day very recently,
I guess I broke a rule.

His name is Noah Bailey,
And he’s my boyfriend.
But when I put my arms round him,
Our smooch went on until its end.

My teacher let my mom know,
This caused me much ado.
The question Aunt Kathy wants to know,
Is who was kissing who?

My dad asked me why I did this,
While I looked down at my shoe.
I very innocently said to him,
“Because I wanted to”!
