Latest Photo Shoot...

We went the Saturday before Easter to get Sarah Katherine's latest set of pictures. We meant to go at 6 months, but 7 months is close enough - right?! She is really warming up to the camera and starting to show her little personality for posterity! What you see is definitely what you can expect from our little one on a given day. She's a happy baby and has the most precious laugh ever!!!

April Zoo Class

Well, this go round we were learning about black and white animals. Luckily the skunk did not make and appearance! I was able to take and early lunch and go down to see her with the little animals and "learning" all about them. I'm just super excited that all of Sarah Katherine's tugging on the animals didn't get the handler bitten - kudos to her!!!

Fun Dressing Up the Baby!

Sarah Katherine went with the lady that keeps her during the day and her sons to Tuscaloosa yesterday to the Children's Museum. Apparently her boys wanted nothing to do with the dress up area, but look at my girl loving to play dress up!!! I totally see this picture showing up at her rehearsal dinner - eventually. :)

Easter

Here are some more Easter pictures. We had a wonderful day celebratine the ressurection of Christ! I am so excited for the future Easters where we can really start our own little family traditions and talk to Sarah Katherine about the real meaning of Easter. For now, she was just really excited about getting stuff she can chew on! (Two more teeth are popping through!) As you can see below, she is sitting up by herself pretty well now - so the girl is having more fun playing with all sorts of stuff these days. We hope your families had as blessed an Easter as we did!

Sarah Katherine, meet the Easter Bunny

We went today for Sarah Katherine to meet the Easter bunny and get the now traditional picture. She seemed much more interested in it this time than she was for Santa. I think being 7 months old now probably helped a lot though. She is so interested in everything now, studying it, touching everything, and getting whatever she can in her mouth (especially jewelry - my girl!!).

Now that little priss is getting older, she is doing some super fun stuff! She is perfecting her sitting up skills, she still is much more intersted to flop forward to try and get anything that might interest her, but she can sit up when she feels like it. She is also clapping her hands and saying dada. The dada part is quite frustrating, but I guess it makes David happy! This past week she got to spend several days with Grandmommy and Granddaddy (my parents) since I had to travel for work and David was working crazy hours getting his hotel opened up. She had a great time with them, and came home with even more bows and shoes! So from now on even if you don't see a bow in the picture, for the record there is one to match EVERY outfit we own. :)

We are going this weekend to get our next round of professional pictures made for spring, so hopefully little miss will smile super cute, not spit up on her white dress, and be just overall adorable! Have a very Happy Easter everyone.
