Girl's Day Out

This past Friday Sarah Katherine had to stay out of school because she had a fever (school rules - over 101 you stay out til you are fever free for 24 hours). At first I was frustrated with this rule because SK is just teething and not really "sick", but I guess I do appreciate that other kiddo's are coming in with fevers so I need to respect the rule. Plus, this gave us a chance to have a fun girl's day with my college buddy Jennifer and her daughter Marissa. We started with lunch and then some shopping - great day! The girls were really fun to watch interacting, I bet they will be as much trouble as their mommies when they get a bit older. :) It was a very surreal experience hanging with our daughters when we used to have a whole other definition of girl's night out! We kept looking at each other like - woah, you have a kid! Thanks for super fun day ladies, and let's do it again SOON!

I can just hear Sarah Katherine now - "Oh my gosh, I know - me too!"
