A friend from church that has kept SK in the nursery since she was bitsy is getting married next April and she has asked both my girls to be in her wedding! I am so excited for Morgan and so blessed to have our girls be a part of their special day. Well, we went to look at flower girl dresses a few weekends ago and SK had the best time! We got to see all the big girls trying on wedding dresses (she would stare at them completely mesmerized), SK got to spin around in beautiful dress, and even wear a tiara. I think I'll bring her to David's Bridal for her next birthday party. :)

5 Month Old Sweetie
Charlotte Anne is growing and getting more fun each day!
Her little tummy troubles are getting better with eating food, so she is much less fussy. I am so glad she's feeling better because I could tell she was really a happy baby, but she just felt bad for a while.
Now she is smiling and chatting ALL THE TIME! It is so much fun to have a full length conversation with a 5 month old - complete with inflection and very concerned faces. :)
She loves her big sister so much and really lights up when she's around. SK can't wait for her to get bigger so they can share a room and all her stuff (yes, I know I need this in writing - as soon as she can sign her name I getting it!).
I am so blessed with this little angel!
A friend at work's sister makes these (lips for girls, mustaches for boys) and she gave us one. So fun!
This girl LOVES standing. I think she may be standing before she stops with the head wobble!
Cutie Pies!
Charlotte Anne is showing more and more personality and Sarah Katherine is just so over the moon for her "Baby Charlotte Anne" that it's tough not to just sit and take pictures all day of them being cute. Here are a couple of them being precious (at least mom thinks so!).
You know I try and do the cute matching then whenever possible. Here is a couple Sunday's ago when the girls were rocking some pink and brown.
SK wants to hold baby sister all the time. Now that CA isn't as wobbly SK is getting her wish a little more often. I just pray they like each other this much for a while longer - I am loving it!
My Graceful Sarah Katherine
Two weeks ago we woke up at 3am to hear a thud from above in Sarah Katherine's room. We didn't hear any crying, so we thought all was ok. About 20 minutes later we hear SK crying because it was apparently her night light that fell off her bunk bed and turned off so we was in the dark and NOT happy. Then 10 minutes after that we hear frantic crying from SK and I run upstairs to hear her saying "my eye won't open"! I scooped her up and immediately gave her a double dose of benadryl because I was going to be sure her throat wasn't going to close up in case this was allergies. Well, it turned out that when her light fell off the bunk bed she climbed down to try and turn it back on. On her way back up to her bed she misjudged where she was and jumped forward onto the bed and clocked herself on the right temple with the corner of her ladder rail. This is a tough girl that doesn't cry when she actually hit her head, only when it swells up so much she couldn't see.
3 hours after the event:
One day later - she can open a little bit:
Two days later - max swelling point (so pitiful):
Three days later - she can finally see without pulling her eyelid up with her finger:
Thankfully the swelling went down and they eye didn't even change colors. So other than scaring the stew out of all of us, this was basically a non-event. I just wish I had not passed my lack of coordination on to my baby girl. I have a feeling this is the first of many boo boo stories.
Fair in Pelham
We were riding around a few weekends ago and noticed there was a fair just down the road from our house, so of course we had to check it out. I will say it made me wish we were at the "real" fair (the peanut festival), but it's a good lead in to the real deal. There were a few kiddo rides and thankfully we ran into a friend from work and her daughter so SK has a crew to ride with. The fair just isn't the fair without The Corndog Man!
Guess Who's Eating Food???
My baby girl is now big enough to start eating food and with that comes getting to sit in her high chair. This was her first venture in the high chair, and she LOVED it! She is so tiny, and the chair lets her be tall and sit up. So far she has liked all the fruits and vege's she has tried except for peas. I am keeping it in the rotation though hoping it will grow on her. Maybe with the addition of solids I can get her to outgrow her 0-3 month clothes!
August / September = PARTY TIME!
We have lots of friends with August and September birthday's, so about mid-August through the end of September is a hot spot on our social calendar! Here are some pictures to highlight.
Of course the biggest event (other than the excitement of the princess party) was David's birthday on the 7th of September. We got a sitter for SK and CA and went out on a "real" date! We had a great time and went to a restaurant that does not have fries as a standard side dish - fab!!! On David's actual birthday Sarah Katherine helped me bake a cake then we loaded it up with the correct amount of candles and sang. Thankfully no house fires broke out. :)
Then there are all our kiddo friends with all their fun parties! I know I missed taking pictures at several, but here are a few. Happy Birthday to Gauge, Daniley, both Avery's, Noah, Abby, and Camille!!!
